After two successive losses to Nicholls Baking Combermere, Alexandra finally tasted success in yesterday’s final of the Republic Bank Right Start Everton Weekes Under-13 Cricket Competition at Kensington Oval when they defeated their archrivals by seven wickets.
The St Peter side were considered underdogs once again, but this time they were good enough to become champions.
