A FORMER police constable is in stable condition at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital after being shot this evening.
Reports indicate that the 31-year-old, a St Michael resident, was shot in the left side of the chest around 5:40 p.m. at School Lane and Train Line Road, Halls Road, St Michael.
