Dear Christine,
This letter is addressed to Hurting Inside, whose letter appeared in one of your editions last week and dealt with a daughter who was carrying on an affair with her mother’s husband.
Christine wrote many terrific things which give you something to think about. However, my advice to you is to take some time to grieve and put this episode behind you.
It won’t be easy but don’t waste too much energy on those two parasites.
Any woman who sleeps with the man who raised her is nasty and you shouldn’t waste a minute thinking about him or her.
Forgive them for your own well-being, but for God’s sake, don’t waste a moment of your precious time looking in their direction. They deserve each other.
I can’t imagine a child doing this to her own mother, but men have been sleeping with their own daughters since I was a child. From what I understand, this is still going on.
My heart cries for all the young girls whose fathers forced themselves upon them.
