POLICE have arrested and charged 40-year-old Jerome Oneal Bovell in connection with two separate incidents.
Bovell, of 2nd Avenue, Spring Garden, St Michael, has been charged with last Wednesday’s shooting at Six Roads, St Philip where Shamar James and Jason Blenman were shot and injured and a car was damaged.
Bovell is facing charges of possession and use of a firearm without a valid licence; unlawful possession of ammunition, criminal damage, two counts of serious bodily harm and affray or disturbing the peace by fighting in public.
He is also charged with endangering life and theft of use on November 10.
It is alleged that Bovell was among several men who got into a struggle with a man who had parked his car at an undisclosed spot in Black Rock to attend a function.
According to a release from the police, the man reported he was shot at and when he returned to the area where the car had been parked, it was missing. The car was later recovered.
