FORGET THE DREAM CUP, local tennis may just be able to serve up its own top 100 player.
Barbados’ best ever, Martin Blackman, believes Darian King could become even better than he was, reasoning the 21-year-old prodigy has the ability to crack  the world’s top 100 within  two years once the country  is prepared to invest heavily  in the promising pro.
The former Davis Cup player and overseas-based professional, once ranked as high as No.150  on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) circuit, made the comment as he prepares to train King for the upcoming 2014 season.
“I think even based on the resources that are available I feel he can crack the top 200 by the end of this year because he’s shown me he can dominate the Futures,” said Blackman, who serves as a secondary coach  for the world No.486 at his academy in Florida.
