Prayers were sent up to Heaven on behalf of all the schools in Barbados when a rally Prayer At The Gates was held in the Major Noott Hall of Combermere School yesterday evening.
The event, an initiative of the group Mums In Prayer, saw a worship session led by Jose Trotman on the eve of the new school term.
About 50 parents, teachers and supporters, including Graydon Sealy Secondary principal Matthew Farley, assembled in 11 groups, representing the gates mentioned in the Bible.
Here, some of the parents and teachers petitioning God on behalf of the nation’s schools.
