Reed Street residents upset

RESIDENTS in Reed Street, The City are up in arms after a police raid this morning.
Claiming the actions were “wrong” and that the rights of the homeowner were denied, they were incensed at the way police, armed with guns and dogs, allegedly ransacked Albert Stoute’s house while he and girlfriend Glenda Boyce were away from home.
Neighbours accused the officers of not showing a warrant.
The morning raid, which residents say started around 9 a.m. and lasted for “hours”, ended with the couple’s 19 year-old son Albert Boyce being taken away by police and the couple claimed close to $4 500 and jewellery were missing.
The agitated Stoute said his house is in a mess and “dey ain’t find nutten”.  (YB)
