PUDDING & SOUSE: Don’t fall for fixer’s trick

WOMEN ARE being warned to beware of a young mechanic who is going around telling females that he can fix their vehicles at a very good price.
This young man, who lives in St Michael, usually approaches female drivers and tells them that their brakes sound as if they want changing, or their vehicle is in need of an oil change, or some other car-related problem in order to get them to let him deal with their vehicles.
He brags about what a good mechanic he is and also that he works at one of the major garages.
However, this fraud usually takes out the good parts from the vehicles and replaces them with faulty parts.
A number of young women have already fallen victim to his schemes and have discovered that their vehicles usually break down after they get them back from this clever fraudster.

?Shame on mum!
PEOPLE IN a rural neighbourhood are condemning a mother for allowing the man who is charged with statutory rape of her underage daughter to move into her house.
Word reaching P&S is that she welcomed the man into her house with open arms.
Neighbours were horrified at her actions, given that her young daughter became pregnant for this man but lost the child.
Some of them are saying the mother should have been the one thrown into prison along with this disgusting man as she encouraged the relationship, though she must have realised he was sleeping with her daughter.

Time’s up

?TIME IS running out for a certain man to return the money which he stole from the bank account of an association.
This man, who works in a “disciplined organisation”, was given until the end of December to return the association’s money, which he had been pilfering from an account for several years.
Apparently, he told members of the association that he used the money to build his house.
To this day, though, he has failed to pay back even a cent, and angry members are now pushing for him to be charged.
The members are so disappointed by his illegal actions that they are saying he should be given the opportunity to be on the other side looking out.

Horrible supervisor
WORKERS AT a Government department want to know how their manager could sit back and allow a supervisor to harass and ill-treat staff in the worst manner possible.
This female supervisor is always cursing her shift members in the yard in the presence of other staff, and sometimes refuses to give them any work to do.
Hard-working staff members are wondering if the manager is so afraid of her razor-sharp tongue that he is refusing to do anything about her uncouth and callous behaviour towards staff.
Other shift leaders have on several occasions complained about her cursing workers on their shifts.
Her subordinates are appalled that this woman, who is married and has children, does not know how to lead others and behave in a professional manner.
They are saying that with so many people going home she should be one who should join the list since it is obvious that she can’t clean up her act.?
