The country’s Davis Cup team is moving on to another big clash against El Salvador following yet another big showing from Darian King, who wrapped up the Americas Group II tie against Chile with a straight-sets victory on Sunday at the National Tennis Centre.
Playing in front a very vocal home crowd, King gave the hosts a deciding 3-1 advantage after whipping Gonzalo Lama 6-2, 6-4, 6-3 in a reverse singles encounter to render the fifth and final match of the tie meaningless. (BA)
