Three hurt in Groves crash

COMMUTING?along Groves Road, St George, was interrupted following a three-vehicle smash-up around 7:50 a.m. yesterday.
Three people were injured, with two being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) and another seeking private treatment. Philip Tempro, of Buttals, St George, driver of one of the vehicles, a sports utility vehicle, escaped injury.
Adam Corbin, of Blowers, St James, driver of a panel van, sustained head injuries and a suspected broken right leg. He sought private medical attention.
The third vehicle, a car, was driven by 20-year-old Chenese Barker, of St Ann’s Village, St Joseph. Her brother, Chai Barker, 14, was a passenger and received a suspected broken left arm. Both were taken to the QEH by ambulance.
