Pushing safe sexual habits

The Registration Department is playing its part in assisting the HIV Food Bank drive.
It celebrated Love Safely Week last week, which organiser Tracia Sargeant said was aimed at continuing staff education about safer sexual practices.
Activities included a Food Bank Drive, a Sexy Dip (similar to a lucky dip) and Know Your Condom, where the proper use of male and female condoms was explained.
The week ended with a best-dressed competition where staffers wore red, black and white.
One of the highlights was a “palm board” where patrons outlined their hands and sent a message of hope or love to people living with HIV or relatives of those who died from it.
