Biggie Irie a hit in T&T

He didn’t find the judges’ “riddim” but Biggie Irie scored with the Trini crowd on Friday night.
He gave a more than satisfactory performance in the Digicel International Groovy Soca Monarch Competition in Trinidad as he participated in the contest for the second time.
The only Barbadian in the line-up, Biggie sang the slow paced Need Ah Riddim written by Trinidadian Jason “Shaft” Bishop and produced by the Red Boyz.
However, Kerwin Du Bois came out on top with Too Real beating Machel Montano into second place with Happiest Man Alive and Darryl Farmer Nappy Henry into third with Big People Party.
