ANOTHER ASPECT of bullying is rearing its head among students.
It’s cyber bullying and, said principal of Parkinson Memorial School, Jeff Broomes, he had first noticed it from his time as head of the Alexandra School.
Broomes was speaking as he presented his booklet Bullying: The New Threat To Civil Society to the student body at The Pine, St Michael school on Friday.
Noting that bullying had been a perennial problem “from the time Adam was a lad”, Broomes said technology had added a new dimension to it.
Technology has not only brought it to the fore and to the public’s attention, but had prompted cyber bullying.
