The boiling heat of the sun was no match for the carnival fever rife in the streets of Port-of-Spain, Trinidad today.
Thousands of revellers chipped down the road to this year’s carnival hits, as well as favourites from last Crop-Over in 22 bands.
In keeping with tradition, many of the carnival depictions highlighted the twin-island republic’s rich history and culture with demons, devils and of course, poking fun at politicians of the day. (LW)
