Searches in vain

JOINT police searches today failed to locate two missing men.
Police reported no success in locating 51-year-old Archibald Jones and 81-year-old Deane Pilgrim, but netted more than 100 cannabis plants.
The searches commenced around 6:35 a.m., and concentrated on areas in St George and Christ Church. Searchers were drawn from the Criminal Investigation Department, uniform members of the Southern Division, the Canine Unit, Special Services Unit and a contingent of soldiers from the Barbados Defence Force. 
Jones, of Malverton, St George left home around 4:10 p.m. last Friday. At the time he was wearing, a black cap with a peak, a pair of plaid short pants with red stripes, and three shirts – an orange tee shirt, a grey polo shirt and a blue pyjama shirt. 
He also wore a pair of brown sandals.
Jones is 6’3” in height with a dark complexion and stocky build. He has a bushy, unkempt black and white beard and white spots on his face. He speaks quickly and has a Barbadian accent.
Jones has a history of mental illness and also has diabetes and hypertension.
Deane was last seen on February 9 in his home district of Vauxhall, Christ Church. He was wearing a beige cap with a peak, blue plaid shirt, grey long pants and white sneakers.
He is about 5’ 5” tall, slimly built, with a dark complexion and round head. He has a low haircut, brown eyes and a pointed nose. He walks with an erect appearance.
Anyone with information relative to the whereabouts of Jones or Deane is asked to contact the police emergency number 211 or the nearest Police Station.
Meanwhile, during the search, Police seized 185 cannabis plants ranging from two inches to 1 ½ feet in height which were growing in a bushy area at Windsor, St George.  No arrests were made.
