Coming round

From this evening, a temporary roundabout goes into operation at the junction of Bank Hall, Codrington Road and Waterford Road, St Michael.
Work on the makeshift roundabout started yesterday and continues today with workers from the Ministry of Transport and Works slotting and screwing the components in place.
The supervisor on the job said the traffic flow would be monitored and depending on how it worked, a decision would be made on whether it should be permanent.
He explained that the structure was made of highly reflective plastic material, which ensured it was visible at night.
