Notts win Barbados T20 Cup

NOTTINGHAMSHIRE outgunned rivals Northamptonshire by 10 runs (Duckworth/Lewis Method) to capture the Barbados T20 Cup in a rain-interrupted final at Kensington Oval tonight.
Notts, who were invited to bat, were 107 for three off 18 overs when a second break for rain brought a halt to the innings.
Set a revised 115 to win from 18 overs, Northants were held to 104 for seven with the four-prong Nottinghamshire pace attack of Ajmal Shahzad (1-24), Jacon Ball (2-18), Luke Wood (2-14), and Andy Carter(2-16) sharing the wickets. (WH)
