Two Jamaicans charged with drug offences

TWO JAMAICAN NATIONALS have been arrested and charged for drug-related offences.
Esroy Pasington Levy, 48, was charged for possession of half a pound of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.
Levy arrived by air from Jamaica on March 19, 2014 and was interviewed by police after clearing Immigration. 
He was referred to a medical facility where he passed out 29 packets containing cannabis which he had ingested.
Meanwhile, Gladstone Jeffrey Ellis, 36, has been charged for possession of a quarter pound of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.
He also arrived by air from Jamaica on March 19 and was interviewed by police after clearing Immigration.  He was referred to a medical facility where he passed out 13 packets containing cannabis.
Levy and Ellis were expected to appear at the District B Magistrates Court today. (PR)
