Granville is dead

ARCHBISHOP?Granville Williams, the patriarch of more than 10 000 Spiritual Baptists in this country, died yesterday afternoon.
He passed way peacefully at his mansion in Ealing Park, Christ Church, which is adjacent to the Sons of God Apostolic Spiritual Baptist Cathedral.
Williams, who founded the church once popularly known as the “Tie Heads”, was 90.
The news of his death brought wailing and weeping from scores of his adoring followers.
