WITH ONE MATCH REMAINING, Barbados have virtually sewn up second spot at the Caribbean Netball Association Jean Pierre Under-16 Tournament.
Barbados rebounded from defeat last night to beat Trinidad and Tobago 45-14 in Antigua tonight. Â
In the same way a poor third quarter led to their defeat against Jamaica, Barbados blew open the game in the same period, outscoring Trinidad and Tobago 19-2. After a close first half with quarter scores of 9-5 and 18-11, Barbados jumped to a 37-13 lead.
Shakeillia Smith scored 27 from 41 attempts and Sheniqua Thomas had her best offensive game, with 18 from 23.
Afia Vincent scored ten from 16 for Trinidad and Tobago and Tiana Dillon four from ten.
Barbados will play St Lucia tomorrow night. (SAT)
