GWENDOLINE URETA EASTMOND is a happy “girl” at 100 years old.

Though a bit hard of hearing, the petite and otherwise healthy matriarch delighted the Governor-General Sir Elliot Belgrave and close relatives with her antics and smart remarks during her special occasion at the family home at 2nd Avenue Haggatt Hall, St Michael this morning.

“This is my birthday, I ain’t remember that. I ain’t remember a t’ing about that,” said Gwendoline in amazement after a bit of urging by her third son George Eastmond. (JS)
