One of the most famous and heart-wrenching stories in Christianity was re-enacted along Oistins in Christ Church yesterday as St Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church performed the 14 Stations of the Cross.
From The Last Supper to the Resurrection, this part of Jesus’ story was alive in its gruesome glory as entertainer Derek Fields and a cast of characters took spectators through betrayal, agony and ultimately, triumph.
The procession started in the car park of Super Centre Supermarket with The Last Supper and ended in Bay Gardens with the Crucifixion, with stops along the way for the various stations, culminating in the resurrection. (CA)
