FIREMEN WERE KEPT busy as the fire bug ravaged acres of grass and sugarcane in Christ Church and St Philip this afternoon.
Up to the time of writing, fire personnel were on the scenes at Searles Plantation, Christ Church and Kirtons, St Philip trying to bring the fires under control.
The blaze at Searles created a challenge for motorists as they traversed the road between Coral Ridge and St Patricks roundabout. (JS)
