Man charged for stabbing brother

A MAN IS expected to be charged with the murder of his brother as police continue investigations into the April 16, 2014 death of 40-year-old Antonio Orlando Griffith of Colleton, St Peter.
According to police public relations officer Inspector David Welch, on April 12 Antonio and his 38-year-old brother Julien Leroy Griffith were involved in a dispute at the residence they shared along with other family members. 
Antonio received a stab wound to his face and was transported to the QEH where he subsequently died.
Julien was arrested and charged for the offence of serious bodily harm on April 12 and appeared at the Holetown/District E Magistrates Court on April 14.
He was remanded until May 12, 2014. 
Welch said it is expected that the charge will be upgraded to murder. (PR/NB)
