Centres for fire-affected residents

Authorities from the Disaster Emergency Management (DEM), police, fire and health have decided to open two centres at Sharon Primary and The Lester Vaughan School.
The centres will be opened as a precautionary measure in case affected residents have to leave their homes. 
At a 4 p.m. Press conference held at the fire site at Mangrove Landfill authorities say they expect to have the fire “firmly” under control in about two hours. (AC)
