Stories of loss, addiction and stigmatisation were brought alive through energetic and emotionally-charged choreography, when the Barbados Community College staged its dance portfolio recently.
Seven pieces were performed by the graduating class at the showcase held at the Frank Collymore Hall. Double Walkers was one of the more impactful dances on Friday evening. Choreographed by Chante McDonald, the dance depicted a young girl being left alone and replaced after her doppelgänger steals her life.
Here, dancers are in full flight in their performance of Double Walkers.
