Drugs found during domestic dispute call

POLICE WENT TO A HOME in Brittons Hill to respond to a domestic dispute call, but instead found more than 30 marijuana plants growing.
Lesanto Oralston Lavine, 28, of Rollins Road, Brittons Hill, St Michael was arrested and charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and cultivation of marijuana.
Lavine is expected to appear at the District A Magistrate’s Court tomorrow to answer the additional charge of assaulting his girlfriend and causing bodily harm.
During the investigation, police seized 32 cannabis plants which were growing in the backyard.  The plants ranged between three feet to six feet in height and were growing in pots and buckets.  (PR/SAT)
