ROARING ENGINES AND a cheering crowd filled the air of the refurbished Bushy Park race circuit this morning.
Kicking off the beginning of the Top Gear Festival Barbados, Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy said during his address that this was a historic occasion to remember.
“It is the first time Top Gear is in the Western Hemisphere and we are very happy and proud about that,” said Minister Sealy.
He went on to say that the event marked the opening of the Red Bull Global Rally Cross.
So far, spectators have been treated to practice races featuring racing greats such as Ken Block and Formula One superstar Lewis Hamilton.
