Hinds off to Seoul

ALISON?HINDS is off to Seoul as international Goodwill Ambassador to the Business and Professional Women’s Association for their triangular congress.
She is the first to be chosen from the Caribbean for the mission and will be in Jeju Island, South Korea from May 23 to May 27.
During her stay she will be speaking on the topic Gender Equality and Media and also do about four or five performaces during the week at various events at the congress.
Adzil Stuart will be her personal assistant.
Hinds described her trip, “as a brand new experience because neither of us has ever been to that side of the world before, so we are very much looking forward to it and meeting all the women that are going to be there”.
She said the Jeju was known as “the island of women”.
“There will be a thousand women from all over the world meeting on all the gender issues as well as having other fundraising events.”
She has encouraged everybody to follow her on all aspects of social media.
Stuart said he was looking forward to the experience. (JS)
