PINE HILL ST BARNABAS are the double crown queens of Division One netball.

St Barnabas added the League crown to their Knockout title tonight at the Netball Stadium with a facile 44-29 victory over the 2013 queens, CO Williams Rangers.

Except for a first quarter tie of 8-8, Rangers never looked capable of pulling off the needed win to force a play-off among them, St Barnabas and UWI Blackbirds.

Six-footer Laurel Browne scored 34 goals from 44 attempts for St Barnabas, while Sheniqua Thomas added 10 of 15.

Nikita Piggott countered with 21 goals from 27 attempts for Rangers, but had no consistent support. Vanessa Reid Cox (4/8), Nikita President (4/10) and Shakeena Rock (0/1) were all tried in the attacking position for the losers. (KB)
