Incoming principal and pro-vice chancellor of the University of the West Indies Open Campus, Professor Eudine Barriteau, has praised her alma mater, Ellerslie, for providing her with a solid academic foundation.
And in recognition of her achievements, the Caribbean scholar received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Black Rock, St Michael school. The UWI deputy principal was also joined by her son Cabral Barriteau-Foster.
“I cannot begin to tell you how delighted I am to be here with you this morning and how humbling it is to receive this Lifetime Achievement Award from my school,” she told students.
Here, she celebrates with some of the students during yesterday morning’s assembly. (LW)
