Forget all that talk about 13 being an unlucky number. For Roger Skeete, it just adds up to more trophies and accolades.
Barbados’ most adored driver and his faithful co-driver Louis Venezia kept their car on the road and away from danger all yesterday, to expectedly emerge provisional winners of the Sol Rally Barbados. It was Skeete’s 13th Rally Barbados win.
They all tried to take over this sheriff’s town, but simply weren’t good enough, as Skeete impressed during the final stage from Padmore Village to the redeveloped Bushy Park circuit in St Philip. (BA)
