Another record for Akela

Akela Jones just won’t stop breaking records.
Yesterday, the athlete added another to her growing resumé, leaping 6.18 metres at the National Championships at the National Stadium.
Although it wasn’t as far as the 6.55m she did earlier this year to set new national and junior national records, it was good enough to replace the meet record of 6.01 metres set by Ayesha Maycock 13 years ago.
