NEW ZEALAND lead the West Indies by 236 runs with five wickets remaining, reaching the lunch time score of 260 for five at Kensington Oval on the fourth day of the third and final Test match.
Kane Williamson built on his overnight total of 58 to reach 121 not out at lunch. BJ Watling is not out on 15.
A breezy 51 from Jimmy Neesham helped take some of the pressure off Williamson. He was caught by Kraigg Brathwaite at short cover off the bowling of debutant Jason Holder, his second Test wicket.
Overnight batsman Brendon McCullum was lbw to Roach for 25.
The West Indies did not help their cause, looking flat in the field and the bowlers did not create any pressure.
Scores: New Zealand 293 and 260-5. West Indies 317.
