Gorg/Porgie & Murda tie for Jam Tune

There was a tie for this year’s Stag Jam Tune, the most popular song played by the bands on the road for the 2014 Roberts/BL&P Foreday Morning Jam of the Crop Over Festival. 
Gorg’s Meh Rum and Porgie & Murda’s Benup were the most popular songs on the road today. It is the second title for Gorg who is also the Party Monarch king.
In the results issued this morning Meh Rum and Benup tied for first place, which comes with a cash prize and the title of Stag Jam Tune. Third place went to the Sweet Soca Monarch Biggie Irie for his Pankatang.
Fifty-four (54) bands were registered to take part in the Foreday Morning Jam, with 46 revelling along the route to the many popular tunes of the season. (PR/SAT)
