A baby with a rare case of congenital heart disease was rushed by air ambulance from Barbados last night to Colombia. Eleven-day-old Sebastien Mitchell has been taken to the Funacion Cardioinfantil Hospital in the city of Bogota where he will undergo specialised paediatric heart surgery.
His mother, Samantha, along with a specialist three-member team from the hospital, accompanied the baby on the two-and-a-half-hour trip.
Here, the medical team and relatives as they take the baby from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital off to the airport.
