MOMENTS AFTER a man slashed his ex-lover’s face and throat, he telephoned his sister to say goodbye.
Then, he slit both of his wrists.
A tearful Jacqueline Pilgrim alleged that her only brother, Cuthbert Joseph, called her at work before 7:30 a.m. yesterday, moments after attacking Margaret Christopher at Parris Hill, St Joseph, in a suspected case of domestic violence.
Christopher, the mother of Joseph’s six-year-old son, was cut from her left ear to the throat, less than 30 feet away from the shop at which she worked in Parris Hill. The child was with his mother at the time of the incident, and residents said, he was bawling during and after the incident.
