Don’t borrow to start

DO NOT BORROW money to set up a business, use whatever personal funds are available instead.
That was one of the main points coming out of a half day workshop hosted by Upstart Caribbean at the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex.
Participants were given tips on how to set up and grow their companies from business and financial consultant Jeremy Stephen, chartered structural engineer and President of Walbrent College Grenville Phillips and Small Business Development Manager at Scotiabank Ouida Murrell. (YB)
