THE LAND-LOCKED African kingdom of Lesotho today signed a memorandum of understanding with the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), with the aim of getting help to improve its education system.
Lesotho’s Minister of Education Makabelo Mosothoane said the country was looking to the CXC for help at a time when education there was undergoing a transformation.
She said that from primary schools up were being affected by the changes.
Acting registrar at the CXC Glenroy Cumberbatch said Lesotho was seeking guidelines on best practices. (TY)
