Fire at chicken farm

TWO FIRE TENDERS are on the scene in Ridge Road, Christ Church where a fire broke out earlier today at ZRS Farms.

Reports indicate that the fire started in the turkey pens at ZRS Farms which are operated by Chickmont Foods Ltd.

A NATION team on site says the fire is now under control.

Edward Albecker, general manager at Chickmont and Operations Manager Trevor Gunby are on the scene. (SAT/SP)
