Share post:

THE QUIET AND CLOSE-KNIT community of Easy Hall, St John was thrown into mourning this afternoon when Andrew Mayers died in a freak accident.

Mayers, 44, an auto-body repairman, died when the car he was working underneath slipped off its props and crushed him. He died on the spot.

Residents lined the road, some holding their mouths in disbelief, as word spread of his death.

His brother, Kingsley Mayers and mother Vernice Mayers, remembered him as a quiet and friendly individual who kept to himself.
