Heavy overnight and early morning rain washed out play in today’s first session of the first Test match between West Indies and Bangladesh at Arnos Vale, St Vincent.

Play is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Caribbean time.

At stumps yesterday, West Indies were 264 for three (87 overs) with opener Kraigg Brathwaite unbeaten on 123. He was joined by veteran Shivnarine Chanderpaul late in the evening after Darren Bravo was dismissed for 62.

Earlier, Chris Gayle made 64 and Kirk Edwards ten.

Bangladeshi bowler Taijul Islam has taken two wickets for 69 runs. (SAT)
