ESTEEN MILLICENT COPPIN is the latest Barbadian to reach the coveted milestone of 100 years.

She celebrated her big day today with Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave, friends and family.

The former cook, who now resides at the Rosedale Senior Citizens Home at Rockley Main Road Christ Church, was described by her only surviving daughter Lucille as “a loving person who would give her last and talk to you and give you guidance.”

Sir Elliott said he was especially pleased that Coppin could look after herself and appreciate the festivities. (RL)
