Bushy Park CEO on job tomorrow

Bushy Park Circuit Inc. (BPCI) is getting a chief executive officer.

He is Bert van Horck.

And the CEO, who takes up he appointment tomorrow, said he sees it as a great honour to be appointed.

“I cannot wait to put all my knowledge and experience towards ensuring that events will be safe and memorable for all Bushy Park Circuit stakeholders, our visitors, our business partners, the wider community and the drivers alike,” he said.

A native of the Netherlands, he brings extensive international experience in both event organising, as well as event supply, after being a member of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games organising committee, where he headed the event services department.

Mark Maloney, BPCI chairman,  welcomed van Horck’s appointment. 

“The appointment of Bert van Horck is the next step in putting Bushy Park even more firmly on the map, not just as a unique event venue in Barbados but also as a world-class racing venue, able to attract the best of what motor sport has to offer in a unique and welcoming Caribbean setting,” Maloney told the SUNDAY SUN.

The new CEO takes up office as the BPCI prepares to host the global Race of Champions on December 13 and 14.
