Three remanded

Three men who appeared in court today charged with the robbery of the Payne Bay, St James, gas station have been remanded to HMP Dodds.

Rochan Jackson Thomas, 20, of 1st Avenue, Vauxhall, Christ Church; Rashad Moore, 24, of Vauxhall, Christ Church and 25-year-old Leross Deandre Burnett of Chapman Village, St Thomas were jointly charged with aggravated burglary and robbery.

They are now scheduled to reappear in the District C Magistrates court on Wednesday, District B Magistrates Court on September 23, Oistins Magistrates Court on October 13 and District E/Holetown Magistrates Court on October 14.

The gas station robbery took place around 5 a.m. on September 8 and three masked armed men escaped with an undisclosed sum of money.  

During the investigation, money and other items connected were recovered. (PR/SAT)
