Funding woes for Live Up

Share post:

THE SUCCESSFUL LIVE UP Campaign is in danger of dying from a lack of funding.

So serious is the situation that the Caribbean Broadcast Media Partnership on HIV/AIDS (CBMP) which is responsible for the initiative has had to streamline its already small operation.

“At this juncture, sustainable funding is still a challenge despite herculean efforts for the past three years,” said CBMP executive director Dr Allyson Leacock.

“Regrettably, without sustainable funding this initiative will end,” she added.
