Investigations are being carried out after a Transport Bus overturned near Her Majesty’s Prison Dodds, around 6 a.m. today.

No passengers were on the vehicle which was travelling from Church Village, St Philip, out of The City.

The bus broke through the concrete barriers of a bridge on Summervale Road approaching Parish Land, and ended up on its side.

Corporate communications manager Linda Holder of the Transport Board said the driver walked away from the accident and did not appear to be visibly injured, but was sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for observation. (JS)
