TWO ST LUCY residents will appear in the Holetown/District “E” Magistrates’ Court tomorrow to face cocaine-related charges.

They are Joy Lorette Graham, a 55-year-old housekeeper of Checker Hall and 28-year-old Shane Michael McCarthy of Fryers Well, Checker Hall.

According to police, members of the Drug Squad conducted an operation in the north of the island on October 3 which resulted in the detention of the two and the seizure of two kilogrammes of cocaine.

Both Graham and McCarthy were charged with possession and trafficking of the drug while McCarthy faces an additional charge of “acts preparatory to supplying cocaine, a controlled drug”. (PR/NB)
