Minimart owner: Bullet could have gone anywhere

ON MONDAY AFTERNOON, while working outside, Stephen Babb heard a commotion inside his shop and decided to investigate.

That decision almost cost him his life.

Babb is counting his blessings after escaping with a gunshot wound to the left forearm after an attempted robbery at his business, Babb’s Minimart, in Dayrel’s Road, Christ Church.

He said his nephew, Dwight Babb, who was shot in the upper left side of the back during the attack, was at home recuperating.
