CHRISTMAS CAME EARLY for the Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society (BVHS) today as the charity was presented with a $1 500 cheque from Dwellings Inc.

The presentation took place yesterday at the society’s new home on Tudor Street in The City.

BVHS was also gifted several canned goods, toiletries and first aid kits.

Marketing manager at the furniture and décor retailer, Janine Hinkson, said the funds and items were collected from a fundraising drive during last week’s launch of the company’s holiday collection. (SDB Media)
